British designer Michael Marriott designed the exhibition furniture. I wanted the exhibition not to feel museum-like and for visitors to go close-up to the printed matter without it feeling overprotected or flattened. We decided to give the display cases a blue wash to make the off-white printed matter stand out. The objects were cut out of flatpack wooden panels and held together with bright pink cable ties.
